Electron Cash is a full-featured SPV wallet for Bitcoin Cash. Electron Cash is "power user friendly". It allows users ultimate control over their bitcoins and over their private keys, and its user interface is friendly enough that it can be used by novices as well. Electron Cash supports all the major features one would expect from a Bitcoin Cash wallet. It is the iOS port of the desktop app, which itself is derived from the Electrum wallet for Bitcoin. (So it has good lineage.) It was first described by Satoshi Nakamoto in the original Bitcoin whitepaper. This method allows a wallet to provide strong security without the need for downloading the blockchain or running a full node. SPV lets you validate your own transactions by ensuring they are confirmed in the blockchain. It uses the best header chain with the most cumulative proof of work and the correct hashing difficulty level. Electron Cash relies on a distributed network of servers which handle the heaviest part of blockchain operations. Your private keys sign transactions locally. They are never sent to the servers.

This release of Electron Cash iOS has some much-needed performance tuneups:
- The app should load much faster now.
- No more tx notification spam. New tx's are collated and presented to you without spam.
- Added optimized iOS native support for some of the more performance intensive operations in the wallet.
- Optimized messaging/transaction management layer internals to work better with large wallets. You can have thousands of tx's now in your history and not notice any lag!
- Various other performance tweaks.
Also some bug fixes:
- Fixed a bug where sometimes the wallet would craft a transaction that contained dust outputs, thus being rejected by the network.
- Fixed a few bugs in the network layer that caused internal exceptions to be thrown. Now everything should run smoother!
- Made the app stay backgrounded more reliably.
- And various other bug fixes!
And some cosmetic fixes:
- We brought back the splash screen!
- Layout fix ups for new iPhone X models!

- OP_RETURN outputs are beautified in the transaction detail screen.
- The app now hides sensitive data (such as wallet balance) when you aren't signed-in or need to re-authenticate after a period of inactivity. It blurs the screen and doesn't let prying eyes know anything about your wallet!
